Completed for a national grain handling company
Concentric’s geoscience team undertook a Phase I ESA Review, Phase II ESA and environmental regulatory compliance review for a national grain handling company preparing to purchase a 40-acre canola crushing facility on the St. Lawrence River. The study had to be completed under an accelerated timeline and with discretion due to the pending transaction. A two-pronged approach was implemented: 1) an initial site visit to familiarize the team with the operation/site setting, corroborate information from a Phase I ESA previously completed by a third party and identify potential sampling locations; and, 2) undertake a three-day Phase II ESA field investigation during a subsequent site mobilization. Analyses and reporting were completed immediately, preliminary results were interpreted and communicated to the client in real time, and the entire project was finalized within four weeks from authorization.
