The geoscience team worked with Concentric’s Building & Infrastructure group to identify compliance needs related to a water supply well at a hot-rolled wire processing facility. The supply well was formerly used for an adjacent facility that had ceased operations. Concentric’s geoscience team completed a records review to determine the well details and conducted field measurements and sampling to assess various physical characteristics including yield rates and water quality/chemistry. All information was synthesized and used in liaison with provincial and county officials and in preparing the permit to take water renewal on behalf of the client.
