The City of Ottawa retained Concentric Geoscience to carry out shallow soil characterization studies of the soft cap areas in two City parks. Actual and potential contaminant impacts had been identified in soil at the properties through previous ESAs completed by Concentric Geoscience. The soil characterization studies were used to inform soil management decisions and to evaluate risk to the health and safety of park users.
